Young man pleaded guilty to manslaughter for 2022 Aylmer homicide

Kieran Burbank, a young man from Aylmer, entered a guilty plea to manslaughter in June after the homicide of Trevor Turner. On May 28, 2022, police received a call concerning a 22-year-old man with serious upper body injuries on Court Street in Aylmer.
Turner succumbed to his injuries after emergency medical services transported him to the hospital. Many Aylmer residents mourned the loss of the young man.
The suspect, Burbank, will receive sentencing on September 27.
Burbank also has another case pending before the court. This case involves four charges for crimes committed on May 8, 2021. The charges include robbery, knowingly making threats to cause death or bodily harm, assault with a weapon, and causing bodily harm. The continuation of this trial is set for October 19.
