Yoga Sivananda: all levels of yoga, right here in Aylmer

Yoga Sivananda Aylmer is a group of long-time students and teachers dedicated to continuing the classical hatha yoga tradition in Aylmer.

We are excited to offer a 10-week spring session starting on April 18. With a full schedule of yoga classes in the Sivananda tradition including hatha yoga, special courses, workshops and satsangs (meditation and spiritual talks), there is something for everyone.

We have yoga classes for all levels, including beginners, those with some yoga experience, advanced yoga practitioners and seniors.

If you have always wanted to try yoga, here are some tips:

It is best to begin with simple yoga postures (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama) and relaxation guided by a yoga teacher who can demonstrate the exercises for you and offer adjustments as well as some variations or modifications.

NEW!  This spring, we have two beginners classes: one on Wednesday nights, and one on Thursday nights. Our experienced teachers will be sure to get you started on the right track.

If you are older or simply want a slow, restorative class, we have something for you. Our day-time gentle yoga classes will help you focus on your well-being by improving balance, strength and flexibility.

Have you taken our beginner’s class before? Deepen your practice by joining our open classes. Classes are Monday to Thursday and Saturday mornings, with a new open class on Tuesday mornings. In addition, check out our website for information on upcoming workshops.

Registration is April 16 from noon to 2 pm at the Maison Bruyere (formerly the Convent), 57 rue du Couvent, off Eardley Road in Aylmer. For the class schedule and to register on-line, visit our website at www.ysa.life, Email: yoga.sivananda.aylmer@outlook.com or call: 819 684-3192.

Did we mention that if you are new to the centre, your first class is free? Come out and give yoga a try!
A warm welcome awaits you.

Namaste.
