Women at the heart of Aylmer’s business community

APICA, the business community’s association met for its first networking event since the beginning of Covid-19, March 2 at Bistro 129 Mexicana. Women were clearly at the centre of the association and the community in general. President of APICA and co-owner of Bistro L’Autre Oeil, Martine Boily welcomed the full room of members. She noted that APICA was focused throughout Covid-19 on committee work in economic relaunch, planning for the members, the golf tournament and attracting folks with shop local campaigns. Ms Boily is the founder of the Maple Sugar Festival in Old Aylmer (March 25 this year) and a mother. There are countless business owners, professionals and employees in local businesses who are women – women making a real difference. The next networking event is March 24.
