Town Hall meeting: City council in Aylmer April 18

Gatineau’s Municipal Council meetings usually take place monthly at the Maison du citoyen. Once a year, however, the council meets in each sector of the city and, this year, their April meeting will be held in Aylmer at the Marina Building.  The meeting will take place at the Pavilion Robert-Middlemiss on April 18, starting at 7:00 pm.

As with all municipal council meetings, there will be a question period for residents and those who have questions related to municipal affairs need to register before the meeting starts.

While the agenda for the meeting is not yet available, the 2021-25 program for the council tells us that talks of promoting Gatineau’s culture and heritage, municipal infrastructure plans and leadership strategies as Quebec’s “fourth most important city” can be expected.

Residents are asked to arrive by 6:30 pm.
