Tory Audet wins gold at the Canada Winter Games

Quebec skier Tory Audet, a product of the Chelsea Nordiq ski club, made a dominant performance at the Canada Winter Games in Brookvale, Prince Edward Island, winning the 7.5 km individual event in classic technique for women with a 21-second lead over the rest of the field. 

The 17-year-old Audet collapsed crossing the finish line after giving everything to win gold.

Audet's victory at the Canada Winter Games is a testament to the high-quality coaching and training she has received at the Chelsea Nordiq ski club. The club, located in Chelsea, Quebec, has been developing cross-country skiers for over 40 years and has a reputation for producing top-level athletes. She had been limited to sprint events since her return to competition earlier this month due to a back injury that cost her participation in the world junior championships.
