The symphony of spring
Long live spring in the Deschênes forest and along the Ottawa River.
Spring has arrived, and the proof is in the pudding! There are so many easy-to-recognise signs
signs that nature has begun its transition to the new season, which is coming
with the promise of warmer weather and new beginnings.
Just look at how quickly the snow is melting in and around the Deschênes forest,
as well as the growing numbers of red-winged blackbirds and robins that can be seen everywhere!
can be seen everywhere!
The sounds of spring are also beginning to make themselves heard: the songs of the red cardinal and the black-capped chickadee in the forest, flights of Canada geese nearby along the river, not to mention the roar of the Deschênes rapids. Nature offers us a whole symphony that is a pleasure to rediscover every spring.
Whether you're a nature enthusiast or simply enjoy the beauty of the outdoors, come and take a trip to this beautiful corner of nature. Whether you're a long-time visitor or new to the area, the Deschênes forest and its surroundings are a unique place and an ideal place to listen to the rich sounds evocative of spring.
