Retro skate night at the Marina

Gatineau residents of all ages braved the snowy weather and took to the ice at the Parc des Cèdres outdoor rink for 80s-90s Retro night.

The hits kept the crowd moving as snow threatened to bury the DJ in his protective igloo, but the community spirit was alive and well throughout the evening. The event gave friends and families an opportunity to take part in a fun weekend activity close to home, and a steady flow of skaters and the dazzling light show kept the atmosphere lively through the heavy snow.

Saturday night was the first in a series of themed skating events this winter, so if you missed this one, next up is Disney music on January 24 from 1 pm to 4 pm.
