Lily Ryan, area news publisher was the guest speaker at the Annual General Meeting of the Regional Association of West Quebecers which was held October 29 at the Aylmer Legion. Lily talked about publishing community newspapers and their relevance in this digital age, stressing their importance in keeping residents informed about local issues and the general need for more quantity and more diversity news, not less, as most fear is a real possibility.
