Ready for entertaining? Catering service folks gear up for prom, St Jean, Canada Day and all the garden parties summer can offer

As the entertaining season opens, Aylmerites are planning. Families with a graduate celebrating in June are especially busy. Not only are clothing, flowers, hair and makeup appointments being booked. Caterers are also finding their planning books filling up. One local caterer, Hadalyna, is popular for those who love Mediterranean foods. “My most popular dishes are loved because they are easy to eat and delicious,” said owner Hoda Daoud. “My kitchen is on Front Street so it is close to everyone – and my proven track record means my repeat customers have their favourites that keep them booking year after year.” A mother herself, she knows the pressures of entertaining for family and friends. “I can help make the food part run smoothly and be a hit with guests,” she said.
