Chez Putters is bringing horse racing back to Aylmer, with a new betting parlor

Chez Putters, a local bar located in Galeries Aylmer at 181 Principale, is reviving a part of Aylmer’s history by creating a live horse racing betting parlor called “Place Connaught”. The live horse racing room pays homage to the former Connaught Park, a horse racing track founded in 1913, also later known as Hippodrome d'Aylmer. The parlour is set to open on September 21.
“Connaught Park is a part of Aylmer’s history and I wanted to bring it back so people can gather and watch live horse races like many Aylmer residents remember doing before Connaught Park closed in 2009,” said Serge Dupuis, Chez Putters owner.
Chez Putters is an expert in entertainment. In addition to the new betting parlor, Chez putters has a restaurant, two virtual golf simulators, darts, billiards, live sports, DJs, music, and a dance floor. They have a DJ on Fridays and special events on Saturdays. They have daily deals, a large variety of drinks, and delicious food. Chez Putters is the party place to go for a fun night out with friends and is a perfect get-together place for any occasion.
The new betting parlor has a modern design with comfortable seating and a wall of screens so participants can enjoy live horse races in a welcoming, friendly, and lively environment for the perfect night out. Come live a piece of Aylmer’s history at Chez Putters!
