Poison ivy: Aylmer is a regional hotspot
Lily Ryan
Poison ivy berries and young plants: keep an eye out for these, the oils are present year-round. Trails throughout Aylmer have high levels of poison ivy, the oils of which can be carried inside by dogs if their paws or hair brushes against the plant. Reactions include itchy bumps, redness of skin and patches of bumps and swollen skin.
