Local author, Reynald Labelle, is having a launch event for his debut book “Moins de gestion, plus de leadership : proposition d'un modèle de leadership transformationnel” which translates to Less management, more leadership: proposing a transformational leadership model. The essay is published by Éditions du Pantheon.
The editor describes the essay as “highlighting the need to put people back at the heart of our world's complex, bureaucratic organizations. Reynald Labelle's message is to work with people to bring about real change.”
Labelle spent much of his career, 27 years, as school administrator, and is also a university lecturer in administration, certified coach, involved in several community organizations.
“My deepest wish is that this essay will inspire more leaders with the commitment to do much better in all spheres of society,” said Labelle. “By applying Einstein's thought: "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result and agreeing to reflect and question, individually and collectively.”
To celebrate the publication of his first book, Labelle is having a book launch event at Bouquinart, located at 110 rue Principale unit 1. The event is on September 9 from 1pm to 3pm. More details to come on the Bouquinart Librairie & Galerie d’art Facebook page.
