What a wise old saying!
April is indeed a capricious month. Sometimes it snows, sometimes it rains. The weather behaves like a weather vane. We're delighted to see the sun shining and the mercury rising to over ten degrees, only to be dismayed to see a few flakes and the temperature plummet back below freezing.
Rest assured, this fluctuation is completely normal. Mother Nature is cleaning up her act. She's rolling up her sleeves and getting to work to get rid of the last vestiges of winter while giving us a foretaste of the mildness to come.
Yes, we're all fed up with the dreariness and cold, but let's have a little patience, because April's rains will bring May's flowers.
