Ice Fishing Derby proceeds donated to two local organizations

Bringing this year’s Ice Fishing Derby to a close, Guy Rochon, President of the Aydelu Centre, and his committee of volunteers for the Derby, presented two cheques, each worth $3,500, to the Société Alzheimer Outaouais and L'Autre Chez-Soi, on the evening of Wednesday, March 1st at the Aydelu Centre. These donations were raised from the registration fees and raffle ticket proceeds from the Ice Fishing Derby that took place Saturday, February 25. 

Rochon also announced that the Aydelu Centre will be organizingnext year’s Ice Fishing Derby. Until then, ‘Fish On!’—as is said among fishers.
