The Groupe communautaire Deschênes held its first Family Day celebration since the pandemic at the André-Touchet Community Centre on Saturday, March 18. According to Jennifer Parent, Coordinator of the group, the goal of the party is to give people a sense of belonging, to remove social barriers and to allow for the creation of networks between people, either of friendships or of mutual aid.
