Do not miss these activities and events at this weekend’s Old Aylmer Festival
In addition to the events, throughout the weekend there will be over 40 local businesses, artisans, and makers with booths all throughout the festival for participants to discover.
Friday, August 18
- Under the big top tent near Parc Micheline-Lemieux:
- Live painting by Stéfanie Kearns
- Music by Wassin l’Artiste at 5:30 pm
- DJ Louise Rousseau at 6:00 pm
- Movie screening of “Coco Ferme” at 8:00 pm
- Movie screening of “Donjons et Dragons” at 9:30 pm
- Movie screening of “L’Arracheuse de temps de Fred Pallerin” at Musée de l’Auberge Symmes, 1 Front Street, at 8:30 pm
Saturday, August 19
At the Monastère, 161 Principale:
- Les dés-agréables board games from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Inflatable structures for children
- Children's show by Animaxion at 11:00 am
- Synthetic hair highlights booth
Bistro L’autre Oeil, 152 Principale:
- Wrestling show from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
Musée de l’Auberge Symmes, 1 Front Street:
- Interactive theater and mystery games with the Histoire Vivante group that will present “Charles Symmes: la course à la mairie” from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Galeries d’Aylmer, 181 Principale:
- BMX bike show from 10:30 am to Noon
La Basoche parking lot, 120 Principale:
- École de danse Anick McConnell from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Big top tent near Parc Micheline-Lemieux:
- Music performance by Les Bons Gars from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm
- Music performance by Wildwood Family from 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm
- Les dés-agréables board games from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Sunday, August 20

Galeries d’Aylmer, 181 Principale:
- BMX bike show from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm
La Basoche parking lot, 120 Principale:
- École de danse Rosanne Phillippe from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Musée de l’Auberge Symmes, 1 Front Street:
- Music performance by Claude Naubert and his musicians. The show is a homage to Félix Leclerc, titled “Du Petit Bonheur… au Tour de l’Île” from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
