Deschênes from the sky: 100 years of local history

On Thursday July 24 from 7 to 8 :30 pm, the public is invited to the Centre communautaire Ernest-Lattion for an original historical presentation: ‘100 years of the Deschênes district through aerial photography’.

Free and open to all, this bilingual event offers a visual overview of the evolution of the Deschênes district, from the third portage to the banks of the Ottawa River, right up to the transformations of Deschênes Park, from the 1920s to the 2020s.

The hour-long presentation will be followed by a question and answer session with the public.
