Council greenlights Front Street apartment complex construction
Sophie Demers
During the July 4 municipal council meeting, the proposed 43-unit apartment building was approved without debate. The building will occupy the 24, rue Derwin and 39, rue Front properties in Old Aylmer. The current structures occupying the site will be demolished.
The motion to approve the project was proposed by Aylmer councillor Steven Boivin and supported by Mario Aubé, Masson-Angers councillor and Comité Consultatif de l’Urbanisme (CCU) president.
