Car runs into Aylmer United Church, destroying front steps

On Monday afternoon, April 27, a car ran into the Aylmer United Church at 168 Principale Street, destroying the front steps. A passenger received minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.
A Gatineau police spokesperson told the Aylmer Bulletin that it was an accident and was not considered a hate crime.
The Gatineau Police told the Bulletin they will contact a representative of the United Church to discuss the next steps.
