Best of Aylmer Readers’ Choice Awards continuing coverage

Gratitude keeps pouring into the office about the Readers’ Choice Awards. The newspaper provided the categories and the public entered whatever names they saw fit. Then we tabulated the over 8,000 ballots that rained in over the four-week voting period. A gala June 1 was held at the Gatineau Golf Club to announce the big winners.

Final results were published last week for the 52 categories. Most overall votes went to Restaurant Alpina with many close races and some surprise wins.
