Aylmer’s First Sip n’ Shop: Local Delights and Drinks
Cam Middleton
This past Saturday, July 13 from 5-10 pm, the first ever Sip n’ Shop event was held on 78 Rue Principale, across from the British Café. With nearly 20 booths from local businesses, the gathering had something for everyone.
Attendees could explore a wide variety of wares, ranging all the way from handcrafted jewelry to artisanal spices. The event also offered some more unique attractions, like a tattoo booth and some whimsical crocheted creations of male genitalia.
The event provided an opportunity to discover and support local businesses while enjoying drinks in a relaxed atmosphere. Whether browsing for unique gifts or discovering some new favourites, visitors could be sure to find something they’d like.
The event’s organizer and host, Tanya Beaudin, says she does markets similar to this one often, with day and fall markets, as well as ladies’ nights. The next Sip n’ Shop event is planned for August 10, don't miss out!
