Aylmer Repair Shop throws open doors at new digs to spoil customers

On September 30, Aylmer Repair held its second annual Customer Appreciation BBQ. The family-owned and operated business has been a staple for small engine repair since its establishment in the heart of Old Aylmer in 1976. In 2007, Michel Lafontaine and his son Duane aimed to expand the business, and in 2021, the pair purchased the Luskville property on Hwy 148 where they are currently located. They offer small engine repair, as well as sales, rentals, and service of various tools and equipment.
Duane shared that the family has really enjoyed what Pontiac’s scenic countryside has to offer. He stated, “We really love being here; there’s lots of great people, and it’s an amazing atmosphere.”
The customer appreciation BBQ is a new addition to the business’ growing annual calendar. The Lafontaines felt it was a great way to bring the community together and promote some of their best sales of the year. The event also offered customers some extraordinary deals on equipment and featured a draw for a chance to win a chainsaw.
Currently, Aylmer Repair is offering its lowest prices of the year on summer goods. Located at 2930 Route 148, you can also reach them at 819-684-8446.
