Aylmer joins national Pride month

Aylmer drag queens Becky Chouette and Twyla take to Principale Street for a drag show at 5e Baron on August 24. While pride is commonly observed in June, the National Capital Region celebrates pride throughout August to commemorate the historic 'We Demand Rally', where around 100 people gathered on Parliament Hill in 1971 for Canada's first-ever protest advocating for LBGT rights.
